Larson Electronics has announced the addition of the EPL-16BS-1X150LED-100 Explosion Proof LED Light to its comprehensive line of explosion proof lighting equipment. Featuring a powerful 150 watt LED lamp assembly and simple four leg aluminum base stand, this light can illuminate 8,000 square feet of work area with 10,000 lumens of light output.

The explosion proof LED Light provides operators with a convenient and powerful source of explosion proof certified illumination in a portable lighting package. This LED work light features a 16-inch diameter LED light head producing 10,000 lumens of light in a wide flood pattern mounted atop a simple four leg aluminum base. This portable LED light can illuminate 8,000 square feet of work area and produces brilliant white light with a color temperature of 6,000K, making its light output whiter and cleaner than incandescent work lights which typically produce yellowish light that can wash out colors and details. The LED light head is adjustable and can be moved vertically by loosening two thumb screws located on the sides of the fixture for added versatility.

The LED lamp is constructed of aluminum for light weight and high strength, and an unbreakable lens provides greater durability than simple glass lenses. The LED lamp assembly also comes with 25 peel off Mylar lens protectors, allowing users to reduce the need for cleaning and providing added protection against lens scratching. The aluminum base stand is a simple design that combines light weight with high stability, allowing users to simply place the lamp on any flat surface wherever illumination is needed. An included 100 feet of SOOW cord ending with a 1523 explosion proof plug provides ample length for use in larger work areas and secure connections to explosion proof receptacles.
