Xiaomi Mi Band 2 Features OLED Display

Xiaomi’s unveiled its latest wearable device Xiaomi Mi Band 2 that will be released in China on June 7, 2016, reported Engadget.

The US $23 fitness band Xiaomi Mi Band 2, is a wearable fitness band that will feature a 0.42-inch OLED display.

Similar to its predecessors, the Mi Band 2 is capable of tracking movement, monitor heart rate, measure sleep quality, and comes with an ADI accelerator. The band is also waterproof, and the screen has several thin anodized button, which will display the time, step count, and heart activity.

The fitness band’s new display has added a US $7 price tag to the new band compared to the older generation smart band.

Another impact from swapping to OLED displays is the new band has a shorter lifetime of 20 days compared to other models 30 days.

The band will be on sale in China, and be available in black, blue, green and orange bands.
