AMS Launches New Takeover Offer to Osram with Same Price and Lower Acceptance Rate

AMS re-approached Osram with a new bidding offer launched on October 18. With the new offer, the Austrian company aims to acquire Osram with a price of EUR 41 (US$ 46) per share with the minimum acceptance rate of 55%. The sensor maker failed the first attempt to takeover Osram in the beginning of October as it did not reach the minimum acceptance threshold of 62.5%.
