Korean LED chip manufacturer Seoul Semiconductor appears to be expanding its UV LED product range through affiliate company Seoul Viosys. Seoul Viosys acquisition of U.S. UV LED manufacturer SETi has been approved by U.S. Department of Defense. According to a Korea Times report Seoul Viosys was in talks with DOD for three years before the acquisition proposal was approved.
