LED-backlit TV revenues will become more than CCFL-backlit TV in the coming New Year sales in China

With the development of 3D, local vendors in china have been actively developing more competitive high-end products, and LED-backlit LCD TVs revenues were expected to exceed CCFL-backlit models revenues during the New Year sales in 2011.

In 2010, Hisense launched four 3D TV models, Changhong Electric and TCL three models, Konka launched 55- and 72-inch 3D models, and Skyworth planed to launch its 3D products in December and it aimed to lower the mainstream 3D TVs price between the LCD TV price gap to 1.5 times.

It’s reported that China's 3D TV market would reach around 500,000 units in 2010, with the share of the total flat-panel TV sales up 0.5%. But LCD TV market in china decreased 2% in 3Q10.
