AcBel Polytech Partners with Samost to Forms LED Venture in Mainland China

Taiwan AcBel Polytech Inc., an LED subsidiary of the Kinpo Group, has set up an LED venture with Samost Photoelectrical Scientific Stock Co., Ltd. in mainland China to tap the mainland’s LED-lighting market. It is AcBel’s first step of its mainland Chinese market plan.
 
Samost is a leading supplier of traffic & signal lights and LED streetlights in headquartered in Henan Province, mainland China. It is noticeable for its retail stores in over 10 provinces in the mainland.

The two companies will work together on the manufacturing and sales according to their respective expertise. Industry insiders pointed out that the joint venture has been assured with several favorable terms such as government-allocated lands and flexible rental rates.

Additionally, AcBel executives pointed out that after LED streetlight the company will extend cooperation to digitally controlled LED streetlights.
