Samsung Display Merges with Samsung Mobile Display and S-LCD Corporations to Expand its OLED Business

Samsung Display is playing as a newly merged business with Samsung Mobile Display and S-LCD activities within the Korean electronics group, to expand its activities in LCDs and OLEDs.

Oh-hyun Kwon, vice chairman and CEO of Samsung Electronics, said "Samsung Display is destined to attain virtually unlimited growth."

In addition, the company also intends to combine OLED production technology with precision large panel operations and seasoned supply chain management. "Our combined strengths will guide Samsung's display business through the next decade and longer," said Kwon.
