Larson Electronics released the RFM-LED-7 roof mounted, manual controlled LED light.  Equipped with a handle and shaft sized for most standard vehicles, this roof mounted LED light can be positioned quickly and easily by operators from inside their vehicle.  The six inch LED head is nearly immune to vibration and delivers a tight spot beam to nearly 600 feet in distance. Energized by the vehicle's standard power system, the RFM-LED-7 is mounted via a half inch hole in the roof.  The included mounting secures the light in place and operators use the handle to pivot and tilt the LED light head. A thumb accessible switch enables operators to power the light on and off easily.  Unlike the halogen predecessors, the LED light head has a 50,000 life hour rating and does not break down like the filament in the halogen bulbs.  The remote control LED light is priced around $300 and is a fast, accurate alternative to motorized remote control lights.

"The RFM-LED-7 manual control LED roof mount light is an alternative to our higher cost motorized remote control lights," said Rob Bresnahan.  "The manually controlled models can be positioned faster and more accurately than our wireless motorized models, but you will need to drill a half inch hole in the roof to make it work.  We also offer red and infrared lenses for this roof mounted LED light!"
