China’s Jinli city has received RMB $ 2 billion in investment to establish a factory in the city’s economic zone for production of epitaxial wafers. It is expected to have a gross production of 300 million by 2014 becoming the biggest LED industrial base in northern China.

Jinli Neo Neon Holdings Co. chairman Mr. Ben Fan explains that: “Neo Neon stationed in Hong Kong is currently has the world largest scale of LED research, packaging, and manufacturing. Products include the likes of LED application, decorative luminaries, stage lights, fiber-optics and indoor/outdoor architectural lighting. With the LED green lighting (northeast) industrial base project and LED epitaxial wafer new technology production project, products will not only cover markets in the northern and northeastern regions of China, but also northeastern Asia. We have developed LED green lighting because it employs domestic high-tech environmental projects which after being established will not only promote the northern China industrial base and develop Jinli’s economic power, but also become the horizontal integration between Chinese national industry and the world.”

LED green lighting (northeast) production base manufacturing production center VGM Huang Nan states that the production center’s main product is the LED green energy street lamps. The lamp covers of the street lamps have good translucency with sun and water resistance capabilities. The lamps also have a self cleaning function. The life span of each lamp is 15 years with a 5 year warranty. The lamps have a large area of illumination where 4 lights have an illuminate range of 1000 square feet. Due to using an asymmetrical design, illumination is mainly focused on car lanes while still providing sidewalks with ample lighting.
