Tsinghua Invests RMB 1.2 Billion in Technology Park for LED Optic Development

Tsinghua Unigroup and Lipu County government signed an agreement on December 25th for an investment of RMB 1.2 billion in construction of Tsinghua’s Lipu technology park.

The total area for the park will encompass 41.33 hectares (620mu and mainly focus on R&D and production of LED optics, electrical and digital products, and telecommunication equipment. The project is funded by Tsinghua’s Shenzhen subsidiary and includes industrial and residential projects which will be constructed in the Jinjiping industrial park zone A in Lipu country autonomous region as well as Wuli New City.


The construction will take a total of three years to complete costing RMB 1.2 billion. The project is projected to have revenue of RMB 100 million and up after completion.
