Philips and Shanghai LED Company Jointly Establish LED Lighting Manufacturing Base in China

Philips signed a multilateral agreement with Xuchang City government in China and VisionMax (Shanghai) Electronic Technology (VisionMax) to establish a LED lighting manufacturing base, according to a report by GG-LED.com.

The new LED lighting manufacturing base to be established in Zhongyuan Electric Valley in Central China will be a joint project between the three parties. The aim of the project is to establish new LED lighting products.

VisionMax is one of Philips strategic partner in the field of construction lighting in China, and is also a “national energy efficiency company” approved by China’s National Develop and Reform Commission and Ministry of Finance.

VisionMax is actively promoting and executing the agreement to finish the Philips-VisionMax LED lighting manufacturing base in Zhongyuan Electric Valley, said the company Chairman Dong Qinkuang. The company will also be promoting Energy Management Company (EMC) model to acquire and complete energy efficient lighting construction projects in counties and regions in Xuchang City over the next three years.
