Digital Lumens Expands Product Team to Accelerate Expansion of Lighting and Energy Management Solutions

Digital Lumens announced strategic expansions to its team, with Kaynam Hedayat joining as Vice President of Product Management, and Jason Hanna as Director of Software Products. These new executives will help Digital Lumens expand its lighting and energy management solution portfolio, which brings the benefits of the Internet of Things (IoT) to commercial and industrial customers worldwide.

Kaynam Hedayat joins Digital Lumens from wireless power leader WiTricity, where he served as the Vice President of Product Management and Marketing, responsible for defining and driving product strategy. Prior to WiTricity, Hedayat was CTO and Senior Director of Product Management and Marketing at EXFO, a telecom infrastructure provider. Hedayat holds a Master's of Engineering degree from Cornell University, and a B.S. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Northeastern University. He is also author of several standards in the area of computer networks and service assurance, and holds 9 patents.

Jason Hanna has been instrumental in the growth of the cleantech sector in New England.  Hanna was most recently founder and CEO of Embue, where his teams developed HVAC and energy management products. Before Embue, he co-founded Greentown Labs, one of the world's leading incubators for cleantech companies. As managing director at Greentown, Hanna built the leadership team and infrastructure for a non-profit organization that now houses 45 early-stage companies, having raised more than $50 million in funding. Hanna holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering from Iowa State University.
