HTC New Smartphone Model Features Three Flash LEDs

Photos of a new HTC smartphone model featuring three LED flash lights have been leaked on Chinese media Weibo recently, reported CNMO.com.

The new phone silver metallic phone model has an extremely thin edge, and improved its formerly heavily criticized protruding edge design, which some Chinese netizens have coined as "squared chin design".

It could not be confirmed whether the leaked images were prototypes of the upcoming Hero smartphones that HTC CEO Cher Wang planned to launch in October 2015.

Some changes in the design include a slightly larger camera, and three flash LEDs. The design indicates HTC has made changes to meet user demands, especially in improving the phone’s design.

The Weibo user that uploaded the pics wrote: “If HTC is able to ship these phones, it might put a stop to their financial losses!”

HTC share values have dropped more than 8% for two consecutive days on the Taiwan bourse, following the company's decision to lower estimated profits for 2015. The company's shares lost 47% of its value during the first six months of this year to the current NT$ 75.3 (US $2.44),  according to a UDN report.
