HC Semitek announced it had been carrying out operations since halting trade on China’s bourse, and has been discussing with investors and traders about its future direction. Investors and traders have requested for more detailed explanations about the terms and conditions, but the company has not confirmed the content of the discussions.
The company was planning to resume trade on the bourse by June 13, 2015, and has been confirming the authenticity, accuracy, completeness of information related to its major restructure of assets. To prevent abnormal share value fluctuations, the company had applied for a trade suspension extension starting from June 13, 2015 onwards.
HC Semitek will be disclosing information required under “Rule No. 26 on Contents and Format of Information Disclosure by Companies Publicly Issuing Securities -- the Application Documents of Significant Asset Restructuring of Listed Companies” by July 12, 2015. The regulation requires companies to report major restructures and submit reports after the company restarts trading on the bourse.
The Chinese LED manufacturer plans to restart trading on the bourse by July 13, 2015, and will not be restructuring its assets for the next six months following reinitiated trade.
