Oscar winner Lupita Nyong’o, who stars in the upcoming film The Force Awakens, has literally lit up the Star Wars film inspired fashion show Force 4 Fashion with her LED dress, reported Teen Vogue.

The ZAC Zac Posen dress Lupita Nyong’o wore to the red carpet constantly sparkles with different patterns through the LED lights on the dress, inevitably catching everyone’s attention.

“I’m super excited to be here because I love fashion and I love Star Wars,” Lupita told reporters of People Style. Her excitement is beyond words and is made explicit on her Jedi- style outfit.

Maddy Maxey, the mentor of Made with Code coded and fabricated the LEDs on the dress while Posen completed the overall design.

With 500 LED lights connected to a micro controller and woven to the dress, patterns coded by young girls will shine on the dress.

The collaboration between Google and Posen debuted at New York’s fashion Week earlier in September, including the dress Lupita Nyong’o wore to the red carpet. The light display on the classic black dress was coded by teen girls.

Google deliberately launch the project to encourage more young females to code.
