San’an Opto Revenue and Net Profits Soar in 1H16

San’an Opto announced during first half of 2016, the company revenue was up 21.25% to reach RMB 2.78 billion (US $471.81 million), which was mainly from increased production capacity.  

The company’s net profits attributable to shareholders was up 6.89% to reach RMB 966 million.

The company has 276 MOCVDs, based on 2-inch 54 piece MOCVD production capacity calculations. About 256 of San’an Opto’s MOCVDs have entered production, and 80 among these have raised production capacity.

The company’s LED products and applications market penetration increased, chip demands rose, and the company is optimizing its product structure to advance its technology and boost profitability. The company’s wholly owned subsidiary Anrui Opto’s automotive lighting product revenue has grown rapidly, and is being supplied to many different car brands. The company’s products have been widely recognized by clients, and its business will expand, providing a bright market outlook.
