LED Expo Thailand 2017 increases focus on international buyers, promises booming businesses at the show floor

LED Expo Thailand has created a perpetual impact in the ever expanding lighting sector in the Southeast Asian region to which the lighting manufacturers and suppliers are keen to explore                                              

According to the latest evaluation, the US $29.6 billion global LED lighting market is expected to reach up to  US $ 33.1 billion by the end of 2017. The credit for the appraisal goes to the regional lighting development as LED lighting accounts for 23% of total lightings in Europe, which is the highest across the world. Also, North America and China are the second and third highest absorbing regions respectively.

However, the rapid growth rate in LED lighting is expected to reflect in Asia Pacific region. Furthermore, a mass replacement of the conventional lighting sources with LEDs is already adopted by the Indian government and planned to switch to 700 million LED light bulbs and 35 million streetlights across the country by 2018.

LED lighting in Southeast Asia has deepened its roots in recent years, and has successfully strengthened to replace traditional lighting. LED lighting penetration rate and import scale is expected to grow in the next few years, turning it as a major hub for manufacturers across the globe exporting LED lighting products.
