WELLMAX Signs MOU with National Institute of LED on Silicon Substrate

On December 21st, the 5th Summit of China Intelligent Manufacturing and LED Industry Development was successfully held at Ji’an City, Jiangxi Province. Organized by the first-class science and technology association - China Illuminating Engineering Society (CIES), the summit mainly invited government officials, academicians, and leading LED lighting enterprises to participate and discuss future development of the  lighting industry. Event attendees include the president of Nan-Chang University, senior executives from SAMSUNG Electronics, CREE, Mulinsen, and senior executives from Shanghai Wellmax Lighting Industry (WELLMAX).

The CIES strives to provide companies within the LED industry an official platform to integrate resources and build possible collaboration relationships. On this summit, the National Institute of LED on Silicon Substrate signed a partnership MOU with WELLMAX, establishing R&D collaboration on LED encapsulation technologies.

Dr. Wang Guangxu, the Vice-chairman of the National Institute of LED on Silicon Substrate remarked on the signing ceremony:“WELLMAX is a reputed lighting brand with strong presence internationally. We attach great importance to this partnership, and we hope to collaborate with WELLMAX to better promote applications of innovative LED technologies . We believe it will be a win-win cooperation.”
