Healthy Lighting products on display and demonstrated at the press conference were Crystallin Gold 97 and Orange Study and Task Lights, its upcoming, breakthrough PhotoBlade products for photographers and GrowBlades for the revolution in the way we will grow our food in the future. All three products use Light Polymers nanotechnology and Crystallin films which block unhealthy UV and blue light <420nm, provides for incredibly smooth and uniform light with no harsh glare and extraordinary colors.

Light Polymers was selected as one of the Top 10 Start-ups to watch in 2018. The Taiwan R&D center was built up over the past 5 years. LightPolymers key technology is lyotropic liquid crystals which can be applied to OLED/LCD display panels, LED lighting, building materials and biotechnology. Light Polymers will establish with one of its investors, Tsinghua, a joint venture in June in Songshan Lake/Dongguan area to further its expansion into Healthy Lighting market.

LightPolymers’ Marc McConnaughey said: we know Taiwan people are very talented, hard working with quick response and an attention to cost. Our office and activity in Taiwan is very core to our future. This is an impressive story of implementation of nano-chemistry to make a high value component into product such as Healthy Lighting.

How to select a qualified Table Top Study or Task Light?

Taiwan consumers are with limited information about selecting qualified Tabletop Study or Task Lights. Taiwan Consumer Foundation has warned parents that if you want to protect your children’s eyes, you should consider the following criteria before shopping for tabletop Study or Task Light:

 CCT or color temperature around 4000K which is between warm and blue white light
 CRI>80 which is the ability for a light to produce rich colors
 no glare, low frequency or flicker
 block harmful blue and UV light <420nm

Light Polymers recently introduced Crystallin Gold97 and Orange Study-Task lights are certificated to IEC62471 worldwide biological blue light safety Exempt level (Zero) standard. The Crystallin film technology can 100% block <420nm UV & harmful blue light yet the CRI is greater than 97 which is tops in the market today. Light Polymers also demonstrated their special Orange 585nm spectrum, which is a light spectrum that can help with your overall awareness & alertness.

Crystallin Gold97 and Orange just launched in Taiwan market and initial quantities sold out quickly. The first of many healthy lighting products are now officially launched as of today and will soon be available on TV & internet shopping in June along with additional channels.
Healthy Lighting is the major trend.

The first partner in Taiwan to sell Crystallin Lighting is Walden’s. Light Polymers and Walden’s have been working together for almost 1 year now to introduce high CRI downlights which are now available in Walden’s stores. Head of Marketing for Walden’s Johnny Huang said that Healthy Lighting based on Human Demand, it is the right path and trend for LED industry. We will co-work Light Polymers to introduce specially designed Crystallin based Lighting to provide a better choice for Taiwan people, that is safe, comfortable with extraordinary colors for home & for office.

Light Polymers is previewing its breakthrough PhotoBlades which will bring a new price/performance standard to the photography lighting market and announces a relationship with GGS, which is a long-time provider of Photography products and equipment in Taiwan. GGS General Manager Boss Yang, who is an expert in Photography products and technology said, now professional lighting has become very cheap from Chinese vendors and suffers from harsh glare, non-uniform and poor color rendering. Due to cameras on smartphones approaching professional camera quality, internet content is exploding including videos. Everyone is a becoming a capable of high quality photographs and videos. We see Light Polymers PhotoBlade with Crystallin technology filing this market void of higher quality lighting with no glare yet at a reasonable price. And just like the Study-Task Lights, it is healthy lighting with no harmful blue or UV light <420nm. We expect this technology made in Taiwan can create a brand new whole area, a blue sea, for professional lighting!

Light Polymers also demonstrated its GrowBlade which are flat panel grow lights for plants that allows for growing close potentially increasing plant volume productivity by 40% or more in the same space as traditional bar type growlights. The Crystallin film can be formulated by Light Polymers into precise spectrums. The Growblade now has completed over Alpha tests over 10 tests in America with impressive results! LightPolymers is launching a Beta test program in America in June and full release to Asia market by July.

SHINKONG IECOFUN CORPORATION said: we were early Alpha site with LightPolymers, and we tested melons & strawberry with GrowBlade, its testing result was great! We will work with LightPolymers for further beta test.
