Macroblock ended the second season with revenue of NT$ 841 million (US$ 27.46 million), up 27.5% YoY. The driver IC specialist possesses technologies for the fine pitch market and has been shipping its product to Samsung. With the help of ITRI, Macroblock also showed progresses with its development of Micro LED driver ICs and is expected to deliver samples to its clients by 2H19.

As for the automotive market, Macroblock has accessed the automotive lighting market since 2016 and has put the focus on headlight LEDs with several products verified. Since Texas Instrument has launched its DLP (digital light processing) program for headlights, the technology might take over the high-end headlights market, which may release a spot for Macroblock to access the mainstream automotive LED lighting market.
