EOI has supplied its Flexible Uniflex rear lamp module and LED light sources for the center high-mounted stop lamp (CHMSL) for Tesla Model 3. Currently it ships 5000-6000 units per week for Tesla Model 3 and the company is looking forward to increasing the shipment. Since Tesla will enter the European market, EOI is also hoping to extend its market presence in Europe.

The monthly revenue for the company in September was NT$ 299.67 million (US$ 9.67 million), up by 23% YoY. The accumulated revenue from January to September was NT$ 2.52 billion (US$ 81.33 million) with a 36% on year growth. The major clients of EOI include Flex-N-Gate, Magna and Hella.

EOI is speeding up the construction of its new capacities in Michigan and hopes to start production in mid-2019 with significant revenue contribution by the end of 2019. With the new capacities, EOI aims to diminish extra cost for transportation and tariffs.
