ITRI showcased a flexible full color Micro LED display module at its online booth. The flexible Micro LED display sizes 60mm*30mm with a pixel pitch of 250 µm and a resolution of 240*120 (100 PPI). The display module is demonstrated as a wearable devices combining the Micro LED display area, flexible drive backplane on a wearable bracelet case. The bracelet integrated with a drive circuit to switch the display.

ITRI noted that the flexibility of the display allow a wide range of applications including wearable devices, automotive displays and more.

ITRI first revealed its Micro LED development at in COMPUTEX 2018 when it demonstrated a Micro LED display module with CMOS backplane. By then, it has yet to achieve a full color display. Then at Display Week 2019, ITRI showcased a transparent Micro LED display with RGB color based on a glass backplane. Earlier this year at CES 2020, a PCB-based full Micro LED display module was presented. All these achievements proved the strong R&D capability of ITRI.
