Longli Tech Makes an R&D Breakthrough of Mini LED Technology in VR Applications

On June 26, Shenzhen Longli Technology announced that the company’s Mini LED technology has made an R&D breakthrough in the VR field on its investor relations interactive platform. Currently, batches of VR products have been delivered.

Reportedly, Longli Technology strived to further develop the existing display backlighting technology in 2020 by conducting several prospective studies, eventually achieving R&D breakthroughs involving the use of Mini LED backlights in vehicle- mount displays, tablets, notebooks (NBs), monitors, and TVs.

Longli continues to invest in the R&D of new products and technologies. By utilizing its favorable resources, Longli has developed Mini LED technologies for mass production of vehicle-mount displays and other monitors.

The company’s investment increase in R&D has driven a rapid growth of patent applications. So far, Longli has submitted more than 100 Mini LED patent applications, 60 of which are invention patents.

Additionally, Longli has expanded the construction of Mini LED production bases. Specifically, the base in Fuyong of Shenzhen has begun manufacturing mid-size and Mini LEDs.

Concerning major construction projects, Longli has accomplished trial production of several production lines for its new Mini LED display module plant; the plant construction is scheduled to be finished by the end of March 2022. Once built, the plant will reportedly be able to annually produce 967,200, 1.872 million and 2.496 million Mini LED modules applied to vehicle-mount displays, tablets/NBs/monitors, and smart wearables, respectively.

Notably, Longli has established Mini LED technology partnerships with numerous clients, demonstrating the firm’s abilities in the development and mass production of customized products. Longli’s vehicle-mount products and monitors have been recognized by leading automobile manufacturers as well as consumer good suppliers.

Longli indicates that the company will continue increasing investment in the R&D of Mini LED technologies to develop novel display technologies such as those of Micro LEDs, aiming to maintain its position in the backlighting display sector and improve its core competitiveness.
