Clarivate Analytics, a global information services company (Headquarters: Philadelphia, USA; Japan office: Minato-Ku, Tokyo) has selected Nichia Corporation (Headquarters: Anan City, Tokushima; President: Hiroyoshi Ogawa; hereafter referred to as “Nichia”) as a top 100 global innovative company (Clarivate Top 100 Global Innovators 2023).

This recognition is awarded to companies actively developing innovative products and services and securing the rights to inventions. In acknowledgement of Nichia’s continued provision of new value to society, Clarivate Analytics has identified Nichia as one of the top 100 global innovators 5th times in total.

To move from the individual idea strength to identify the organizations that create them more consistently and frequently, Clarivate sets two threshold criteria that potential candidates must meet and then adds a measure of their patented innovation output over the past five years.
