Chipone OLED display driver chip in New Honor X50 curved screen

News Source:

On July 5, Honor released the Honor X50 and all-scene new products, of which the Honor X50 main screen is equipped with the Chipone OLED display driver chip ICNA3512. This Chip adopts the industry's advanced display technology and self-designed visual effect optimization algorithm, which can support the Honor X50 1.5K ultra-clear OLED curved screen to achieve excellent display visual effects and bring users an excellent visual experience.

The ICNA3512 OLED display driver chip independently developed by Chipone is an FHD+ high refresh rate OLED mobile phone module display driver chip, which integrates the folding joint scheme, self-designed visual effect optimization algorithm, and supports advanced display technologies such as the timing requirements of LTPO power-saving technology.

This OLED display driver chip can support the Honor X50 new generation 1.5K ultra-clear 6.78-inch OLED curved screen to achieve 120Hz refresh rate, 1.07 billion color display, 1000Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate, etc. The screen supports 100% DCI-P3 wide color gamut and cinema-grade wide color gamut, which can also have accurate color performance while ultra-clear display, and brings users an excellent video experience with the blessing of sunlight screen algorithm, SDR2HDR algorithm, AI super resolution and other technologies. At the same time, through blue light suppression, strobe cancellation, brightness and color temperature control and other technologies, the screen eye protection ability is effectively improved.

Due to the forward-looking layout of Chipone in OLED display technology-related fields, the company has now ranked among the first echelon members of domestic OLED chip manufacturers. Chipone is also one of the few suppliers in China that can provide OLED display overall solutions. OLED display driver chip ICNA3512 adopts the national supply chain, filling the gap in related fields in China. In addition to the continuous research and development of OLED mobile phone display driver chips, Chipone also has a complete product line and mature products in OLED wearable, touch, power management and other display related fields, which can provide customized OLED display overall solutions around customer needs.

This year, Chipone OLED product line will also launch Ramless series products, which can support up to 1.5K resolution. Meanwhile, the company will also launch a new 28nm process this year to support the latest LTPO2.0 technology. Compared to the past, the new products will reduce power consumption to a greater extent and better meet new market needs.

In the future, Chipone will continue to actively layout OLED related fields of technology research and development, increase resource investment, and strive to become the world's leading display chip products and overall solution providers, and bring more people a visual experience beyond "screen" with first-class products.
