Recently, Chinese LED packaging manufacturer Jufei Optoelectronics (" Jufei ") and the world's leading Lighting company Current Lighting Solutions (" Current ") reached a cooperation intention, and signed a "License and Supply Agreement" in April 10, 2024.

As a result of this collaboration, Jufei not only obtain Current's PFS(also known as KSF) patent portfolio licenses, but also has access to the supply of high-quality KSF phosphors from Current or its authorized agents. Jufei has become the first LED packaging manufacturer in China, which obtains both GE's KSF patent authorization(see links to http://www.jfled.com.cn/News/Detail_47_115.html) and Current KSF patent authorization for phosphor supply, and these patent portfolios cover LED products in the field of backlight display, lighting, and automotive.

Jufei attaches great importance to the Current’s patent licensing and KSF supply. Current's PFS patent portfolio license includes U.S. Patent No. 7,497,973; 7,847,309; 7,358,542; 7,648,649 and 9,680,067, as well as patent No. 7,453,195 for the use of PFS exclusively in LED packages, and any foreign family patents, sub-cases, continuation cases, partial continuation cases, reissued and re-examined patents of any and all of the above patents.

KSF phosphor products offered by Current or its authorized distributors employ TriGain technology, which improves the color rendering of LEDs through their unique red light emission characteristics without reducing light efficiency. With the help of these patent portfolios and KSF phosphor supply, Jufei will provide high-quality LED packaging products to customers worldwide in the field of general lighting products and automotive lighting.
