Motorola EnvisionX Spectra MiniLED Series: A treat for the eyes

News Source:

While Motorola might be best known for its smartphones, the company’s TVs have also been well-received by consumers. That’s because of the excellent value that their TVs provide. Now, the brand is taking things a notch higher with the new Motorola EnvisionX Spectra MiniLED Series of TVs. The use of a MiniLED panel elevates the TV to heights greater than LCD, LED and even newer QLED TVs! Not only do these TVs pack amazing MiniLED panels, but they are also powered by MediaTek processors. These processors bestow some amazing capabilities on the TVs. Here’s a look at what one can expect from these TVs.

MiniLED Technology

MiniLED Technology is a relatively newer display technology and as the name suggests, the TV has MiniLEDs as the backlight ensuring you get a next-gen content consumption experience. This backlight then travels through the substrate to create images on the screen. LED TVs use standard LED arrays to provide backlight, while MiniLEDs use extremely tiny LEDs. While it may not seem like much on paper, these tiny LEDs can make a big difference when it comes to picture quality. MiniLED panels can incorporate a large number of local dimming zones for more precise control of brightness and contrast. As such, the panel can offer brighter highlights and deeper blacks as compared to traditional LCD TVs. This in turn can help with improved HDR performance as the panel will be able to accurately portray visuals for a more natural-looking picture.

But that isn’t all, the TV also comes with a whole host of features including full array local dimming. This allows the Motorola EnvisionX Spectra MiniLED Series to offer 160 local dimming zones that ensure an improved contrast ratio with deeper blacks as well as enhanced details. Users can also enjoy impressive brightness levels of over 500 nits!

There’s more. The Motorola EnvisionX Spectra MiniLED Series also offers MEMC, which is short for Motion Estimation, Motion Compensation. This analyses the picture frames and generates an intermediate frame between two frames. This helps increase the framerate, which in turn helps make the motion smoother. This is especially helpful when watching something fast-paced. This could include things like sports or action movies as it reduces blurring and ensures a clearer view of the action. Further, there is Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) that minimises the latency between the source input from an HDMI-connected device, such as a gaming device. This helps reduce the lag between a controller input and the action appearing on-screen.

Powered by MediaTek
At the heart of the Motorola EnvisionX Spectra TV is a MediaTek chipset. While most people may know MediaTek for their smartphone chipsets, the company makes processors for a whole host of devices including TVs. In this TV, you get a quad-core processor with a built-in GPU for smooth performance and feature-rich applications.

Speaking of applications, the Motorola EnvisionX Spectra TVs come with Google TV OS. This means that users will get access to over 10000 apps including top streaming services, thereby gaining access to content from all across the globe. Google TV OS is also intuitive as it recommends shows and movies based on your viewing habits and taste. And if that wasn’t cool enough, the TV also comes with Chromecast built-in, so users can stream content from their smartphones quickly and easily. Additionally, the TV also offers features such as a voice assistant that allows users to access the various features as well as search for content through their voice.

A treat for the eyes
While the panel on the Motorola EnvisionX Spectra TVs is impressive enough, the brand hasn’t forgotten about the many other things that make a TV great. For starters, the TV is available in three sizes, namely 50, 55, and 65-inches. This means that users can pick a TV size that is best suited to their room as well as their budget.

The Motorola EnvisionX Spectra TVs also support Dolby Vision HDR, which is one of the best HDR standards currently on offer. This means that when watching supported content, users can enjoy a more natural-looking picture. Further, it should be noted that the TVs come with a Blue Light Filter to protect users’ eyes from strain and fatigue, making the TV perfect for extended binge-watching sessions.

Complete immersion

Motorola EnvisionX Spectra TVs aren’t just about excellent visuals, they offer exceptional audio as well. The TV comes with a 20W speaker with a built-in subwoofer. This should allow users to listen to loud explosions as well as speech clearly, without the need to fiddle with the remote control all the time.

But that’s not all. The TV also supports DTS: Surround Sound and Dolby Atmos for an immersive listening experience that aims to mimic the experience that one would get at a theatre.

Ports galore

The modern TV is designed to be the central hub for everything related to entertainment. Keeping this in mind, Motorola EnvisionX Spectra TVs feature a multitude of ports. This includes an audio port, a LAN port, an RF port, a Mini AV port, an Optical port, two USB ports and three HDMI ports. This means that users can connect a plethora of devices to the TV such as pen drives, game consoles, streaming devices, and much more.

Speaking of gaming consoles, it should also be noted that Motorola EnvisionX Spectra TVs support HDMI 2.1 standard. This means that those with the latest generation game consoles can enjoy gaming with the highest fidelity. Combined with the ALLM technology mentioned earlier means that gaming on the TV is more enjoyable than ever! Further, the TV also supports eARC HDMI, letting users add a home theatre system for even greater immersion.

Powered by MediaTek processors and boasting MiniLED panels, the Motorola EnvisionX Spectra series of TVs are out to redefine the standards of picture quality and immersion. With features like Google TV OS, Dolby Vision HDR, and robust audio capabilities, they cater to the demands of modern viewers. As the market continues to evolve, innovations like the Motorola EnvisionX Spectra series pave the way for a new era of television, where excellence in both visuals and entertainment is a given.
