Asus introduces ProArt PA32KCX 8K Mini-LED display and DisplayPort 2.1 support

Asus has just launched two new monitor models in the ProArt line for professional users, the highlight of which is the PA32KCX screen with Mini-LED 8K panel and equipped with DisplayPort 2.1 port.

The two ProArt Display monitor models announced today are designed to target professional audiences, so they will provide many features such as sharp image quality with high resolution up to 8K, color Great colors & variety of connectivity options.

We will start with the Asus ProArt Display PA32KCX model, which is a screen using a 32-inch Mini-LED panel with a resolution of up to 8K (7680 x 4320). Asus claims that this is the world’s first 8K Mini LED display for professionals. This screen has a DCI-P3 color coverage of 97% Cinema standard and comes with a Mini-LED system with 4096 zones reaching a maximum brightness of 1200 nits. This monitor also supports HDR10.

In terms of design, Asus ProArt Display PA32KCX is equipped with anti-glare, low reflection (AGLR) and Eye Care+ technology. I/O ports on the monitor include HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 2.1, and there’s also a USB hub with two USB Type-C Thunderbolt 4 connectors that can supply power up to 96W.

The second screen is the Asus ProArt OLED PA32UCDM model equipped with a 31.5-inch QD-OLED panel with 4K UHD resolution. This screen has DCI-P3 color coverage up to 99%. The screen also has a maximum brightness of 1000 nits and supports 10-bit color depth. Unlike the previous model, it does not have a DP 2.1 port, but is only equipped with an HDMI 2.1 port along with a USB splitter with 2 Thunderbolt 4 Type-C ports. In addition, the screen has a base area that is 50% smaller than previous generation models and the installation mechanism is also easier.


Asus has not yet announced the price or release date of these two ProArt Display models.
