Philips DLM with Nuventix SynJet® cooling system

The honored SynJet technology from Nuventix is the only way to actively cool LEDs while maintaining efficiency and reliability. LEDs are the next step in revolutionizing energy efficient lighting. Lighting currently consumes 22% of all the energy used in the US. By utilizing SynJets, the LED lighting industry can capitalize on savings today and bring energy efficient LED lighting solutions to the consumer two years sooner than expected.

Jim Balthazar, president and CEO of Nuventix, noted they’ve had a breakout year in 2008, with the completion of a $14 million round of funding and customers continuing to come on board. What a way to finish out the year, with this recognition of their innovative technology, While they have tackled the LED market in 2008, look for Nuventix to continue to roll out new products for the LED market as well as bring similar cooling design innovation to other markets in 2009.
