Recently, IST Ltd has appointed three new strategic partners to distribute its downlighters, LED drivers and other LED lighting products in Sweden, Finland, Poland and Ireland. IST’s growing network of distributors will be Stockholm Lighting Company in Sweden and Finland, Alfa-Zeta in Poland and Enlighten, part of the Fantasy Lights Group, in Ireland.
Stockholm Lighting Company, who are extremely active in the solid-state lighting market and major advocates of LED lighting solutions, have been instrumental in recent LED lighting projects to illuminate casinos, museums, offices, restaurants, hotels, shopping malls and other public areas, and are therefore an ideal strategic partner for the distribution of IST’s patented LED products.
Alfa–Zeta is a distribution company with 20 years’ experience in a number of markets. Marcin Krysiński, President of Alfa–Zeta, said this expansion of their product range fits very well into their development strategy, which is based on offering their customers state of the art products. IST’s portfolio of intellectual property guarantees rapid and long-lasting development of new products, as well as high quality technical support. They strongly believe that this co-operation will bring a new quality to our market.
All three companies are leading suppliers of LED lighting solutions and have selected IST because of their innovative iDrive LED drivers and low carbon DL white LED lighting range.
In response to IST’s most successful year in the company’s history, largely due to the overwhelming success of its new LED driver and downlighter range, IST management recognised the need to create an extensive global distribution network to extend the IST brand and achieve significant global growth. The signing of the distribution agreements marks the introduction of this multi-channel marketing strategy.
Matt Fitzpatrick, IST Director commented: “We are delighted to have signed distribution agreements with these carefully selected companies, with whom there is an obvious synergy with IST. The companies selected will be well placed to serve increasing market demands for low energy drivers and lighting solutions in their respective territories”.
With an ever expanding global network of distributors, IST is in an excellent position to satisfy its rapidly growing international client base. Dr Geoff Archenhold, Chief Scientist at IST, stated: “We have seen a significant upturn in demand for our innovative LED products from Europe, Asia and North America and we felt it was the right time to partner with quality distributors in important territories to provide local support to customers. We are already in discussion with other potential distributors for further territories and our new 2009 product range will further enhance our profile as a leading LED systems innovator”.
