Lutron's Vierti Dimmer Wins Red Dot Design Awards

Lutron's Vierti dimmer has won a Red Dot Design Award, a prestigious international competition that honors high quality and innovative design.

Vierti is a wall-mounted dimmer with a strikingly distinctive look and operation. A single vertical line of touch-sensitive LEDs in the center of the wallplate allows the user to set the perfect light with just a single touch or slide of the finger. With three LED colors and over 21 wallplate colors and finishes, Vierti(TM) complements both residential and commercial applications (www.lutron.com/vierti).

In winning the Red Dot award, Vierti was selected from over 3,000 entries from 49 countries in the product design category of the international Red Dot design competition. Entries were judged on a variety of criteria, including degree of innovation, functionality and ergonomics. In winning the category, Lutron joins other product design innovators like Apple, Sony, Mercedes-Benz and Aston Martin.
