Formosa Epitaxy Inc. supplies the global chain of pico projectors

Formosa Epitaxy Inc. has played a role on the global supply chain of pico projectors.

Licensed by U.S.`s Luminus Device for use of V-GaN technology, Formosa's green LED chip is improved to more than 100lm/W, and being used in handheld and built-in pico projectors.

According to the firm, green LED chips contributed more than NT$10 million to the firm's total revenue in May, and the contribution is expected to surge to around NT$80 million in the remaining months of this year. In addition, single-month shipment of the product will hopefully reach over one million units then.
