Light Transformation Technologies LLC, the subsidiary of Acacia Research Corporation, signed a settlement and license agreement with Osram Sylvania Inc..

This agreement aimed to resolve litigation that was pending in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, Civil Action No. 2:09-cv-00354-TJW. The patented technology in this litigation comes to LEDs and to light transformers for efficiently directing and redistributing light from a light source.
