Lowe Introduces Its Retail’s First ENERGY STAR Related LED Bulb

Lowe was reported to launch the first national retailer’s ENERGY STAR® qualified LED A-Line light bulb.

The GE Energy Smart® 9-watt LED light bulb can last more than 22 years, surviving perennial gifts such as sweaters or flannel shirts by at least a decade.

The 9-watt GE Energy Smart® LED bulb with a unique omni-directional light output is able to replace a 40-watt incandescent bulb in desk, bedside or hallway lamps.

It’s said that the new LED light bulb will be available in all Lowe’s stores nationwide by February 2011.
