LG Plans to Sell LED at Low Price

It’s said that LG Electronics is produding low-priced LED light bulbs to expand its market including discount outlets among sales channels.

The company is launching four models, including a 7.5 watt light bulb priced at 13,900 won, the lowest in the local LED market.

Early this year, LED light bulbs for home use began being sold at “LG Best Shop,” its retail chain. Now retail outlets such as E-mart will also carry the lamps.

LG Twin Tower, headquarters of LG Group which has been going through remodeling, has diverse LED products installed to save energy and help enhance effectiveness at work.
