Lextar Electronics Corporation (“Lextar”) announces a new line of omni-directional dimmable LED A-bulbs for 40 watt to 75 watt incandescent replacement solution. The wide angle of over 320 degrees is compatible with Energy Star light distribution, aiming at cliente in Japan, USA and Europe. Lextar also releases its new dimmable LED PAR lamps and candle lamp. The new product series will debut at Light + Building 2012 exhibition taking place from April 15 to 20 in Frankfurt, Germany.
Lextar’s next-generation energy saving LED A-bulbs include 40 watt, 60 watt and 75 watt incandescent replacement, providing wide beam angle of over 320-degree light distribution compatible with Energy Star. By using thermal conductive insulating materials for heat sink, the lean mechanical design not only proves feasible for higher automation deployment, it is also an efficient way to reduce carbon footprint. This is a further advantage that the lean-and-fit structure provides better reliability and performance for its users. Lextar will thus place emphasis on markets with high LED adoption including Europe, Japan and the US.
In addition, Lextar will release dimmable LED PAR lineup, including PAR 16, 20, 30 and 38. These UL and Energy Star compatible LED PAR lamps have a wide range of applications with 35-degree of beam angle, color temperature selection from 3000K to 5000K. The water-proofing design (IP65) for PAR 38 is also suitable for outdoor application.
Lextar will also present the latest dimmable LED candle lamp by using its in-house Chip Array LEDs, with high CRI>90 and wide beam angle reaching 220 degrees. While its unique design conveys the essence of simplicity, the combination with wider beam angle shall enable a chandelier to radiate much glamour and yet consumes only 3 watts of power, about 80% less energy than a traditional candle lamp. High performance with competitive cost, eco-friendliness, and long lifespan are the main reasons why this product emerges as an ideal alternative for chandelier buyers.
“Lextar has put great resources on development of technology and cultivation of partnership with global lighting brands”, said Mr. Vincent Cheng, the Senior Associate Vice President of Lextar’s Lighting Business Unit. “Our already well-recognized LED tube could fairly demonstrate its determination on delivering the most competitive products considering major requirements of QCC in LED industry – Quality of light, Cost-performance and Control system”. This year, Lextar would like to deliver its significant enhancements on wide beam angle, dimmable functionality, lean mechanical design, and cost efficiency on the basis of valued-added solutions covering optics, mechanics, power and thermal system solutions.
