Civilight Signs a Patent Cooperation Agreement with Philips

Civilight Shenzhen Semiconductor Lighting Co., Ltd. (www.civilight.com) announced that they entered into a patent license agreement with Philips (www.philips.com). The license provides Civilight with full access to the Philips’ LED-related patented technologies that Philips makes available to the lighting industry through its LED Luminaire and Retrofit Bulb licensing program.

Mr. Irving Pun (Cooperate Strategy Director, Civilight) and Mr. Gregory Baque (Senior Director of IP & Standard, Philips) have attended the signing ceremony as business representatives, and cosigned the patent cooperation agreement. Also some authoritative lighting industrial media were invited to attend and witness the signing ceremony.

Mr. Irving Pun said: "We are very delighted to access to Philips LED lighting technology portfolio, with its edging LED technology will enhance Civilight future LED lighting products development and Civilight will provide more high performance LED lighting products with better LED technologies to our worldwide customers.”

Mr. Gregory Baque said: "We are pleased to have this cooperation with Civilight in LED lighting technology, the agreement will be conducive to the promotion of global LED lighting industry development.”
