World's First Invisible Tower Thanks to LED Technology

The combination of LED lights and camera are used to create the world's first ever “invisible” tower in Seoul, South Korea. Standing 450 meters high, the Tower Infinity will be among the top 10 tallest buildings in the world. The design concept for the tower was originally drawn out in 2004 but has only just gotten the go ahead for construction. According to the architect website inhabitat, the tower will only serve as a place for entertainment complete with an indoor roller coaster, a water park, restaurants, wedding venues, and landscaped gardens. People will also experience simulated scenery from around the world as they ride the elevator to the top. This is in hopes to encourage interest in traveling and new cultures.

The use of state-of-the art LED lighting and camera will create the illusion of invisibility, making the tower look as if it has disappeared, according to an article in the Daily Mail.
