Arbrux Manufacturing, the leading designer and manufacturer of floating lake fountains, pond aerators and marine dock de-icers, has announced plans to develop an LED light for fountains, ponds and reflecting pools after the success of its submersible light kit, which launched earlier this year.

“A simple light fixture added to your lake fountain or pond adds a dramatic effect to any landscape. It’s the perfect focal point for outdoor events and entertaining,” said Pete Barbe, president of Arbrux Manufacturing. “Offering LED lights to our product lineup is a natural step forward – they’re eco-friendly and efficient. It’s what our customers want.”

Arbrux plans to launch the LED lights in 2014. LED lighting is known for its long life, energy efficiency and its extremely rugged and durable quality, perfect for unpredictable outdoors conditions.

Arbrux’s current line of submersible light fixtures are made in Canada and feature a stainless steel case, a 250-watt high output tungsten halogen lamp, and a low profile design that allows it to be placed in water as shallow as 8 inches. The light comes complete with a 2-meter (6.5 feet) hard usage power cable; and a swivel base U bracket, which allows for easy placement and mounting within a pond, reflecting pool or on a fountain. Arbrux light fixtures have been approved to CSA/UL standards.
