To enhance people’s life by creating the right ambience, a team called Goldee announces their new iPhone app product working with Philips Hue. By this free app, you can create romantic atmosphere for dinner, an environment that inspires creativity or subtle light for falling asleep.

Goldee indicates that light is like music, it can create different feelings. “We couldn’t find anything that would utilize the full potential of the Philips hue bulbs, something that would allow the bulbs to create a magical ambience. That’s why we decided to make the Goldee app a reality,” said Tomas Baran, CEO of Goldee. Following are features of this app.

DYNAMIC LIGHT SCENES

In nature, light has never been static. Dynamic light scenes provide an ever-changing interplay of colors. The light of each bulb slowly changes according to Goldee’s light algorithm, which is programmed to never repeat itself.

Goldee brings you 10 dynamic light scenes providing functional and emotional light. A new collection of hundreds of light scenes is coming soon.

SUNRISE ALARM

Waking up doesn’t have to be stressful thanks to Goldee’s Sunrise Alarm. It simulates sunrise, making your morning rise feel more natural. Sounds from nature underpin the waking experience.

With music, the right combination of a few tones makes a melodic song. In the world of colors this is no different. Experienced light artists have composed harmonic light scenes to bring you the perfect light for every occasion.

INTUITIVE USER INTERFACE

Setting up Philips hue bulbs or managing light in multiple rooms is not an issue any more. Goldee is designed with the user in mind, making every step simple.

SLEEP TIMER

Sleep Timer mimics the natural dimming of light during sunset. This fosters the release of the hormone melatonin, which is associated with sleep. It prepares the body for a good night’s sleep.
