Two prominent lines from Littman Brands, Hudson Valley Lighting®, manufacturer of contemporary and traditional lighting fixtures for more than 30 years, and Corbett Lighting, manufacturer of decorative lighting, are pleased to announce their participation in the renovation of The Ronald McDonald House in Long Island, New York (RMH-LI), a respite for seriously ill children undergoing treatment at area hospitals, as well as their families. As part of the RMH-LI renovation initiative, called Project Design 2013, Hudson Valley provided 28 of their Trumbull fixtures throughout the entire first floor – illuminating the hallways leading to the bedrooms. In addition, Corbett Lighting donated two of their beautiful Poetry sconces for the entry. Littman Brands was honored to work with Anthony Baratta of Anthony Baratta LLC, who served as lead design chair and sponsor.

An enormous undertaking, the original 18 bedrooms of the House; including kitchen, breakfast room, five common areas, first floor restrooms, and three laundry rooms were completely revamped with the help of 26 generous leaders in the interior design industry. Renowned design firm Bunny Williams worked with David Miller-Engel at The Light Touch to secure Hudson Valley Lighting’s Seneca flush mount fixtures, adorned with stars, in the colorful playroom.

“We were happy to provide our Trumbull fixtures and our Poetry sconces to these important areas in the center," said David Littman, founder and chairman of Littman Brands. “In keeping with our company’s initiative to provide assistance to local hospitals and cancer foundations, we hope our lights will play a role in brightening the spirits of these special children and their families during a very difficult time.”
