Samsung to Feature New 1.8t Flash LED in Upcoming Galaxy S5

Just one day after Samsung released its new LED product portfolio for smartphone applications, the company will be packing one of these products into its new smartphone Galaxy S5, according to a CNET report.

The company will be incorporating the new 3421 1.8t reflector integrated flash LED package to enable the phone to take better quality photos during the day and night.

The report noted the new 1.8t LED will widen the camera’s field of view within a limited space. The component is also able to deliver better photography performance because of the integrated light source, lead frame, and reflector with its own optics and diffusion features. The reflector integrated 1.8t flash LED is expected to enter mass production in March.

Galaxy S5 is expected to make its debut next week in Barcelona, according to Samsung.
