For heavy golfers that enjoy practicing moves late at night, a U.S.-based company Night Sport has launched a LED golf ball that illuminates the fairway when hit.

The golf balls come in standard weight and glow upon impact. The LED lights stay activated for up to eight minutes after being hit by the golf club. According to the company, patented after-glow technology enables the golf balls to give continued visibility.

The golf balls currently have a 40 hour battery life, and cost US$ 30 for a four pack (four golf balls). Please see video below for the golf balls in action:
