LED Luminaires that Project their Own Lampshades

Japanese design studio YOY has created new LED luminaires capable of projecting its own lampshade this year, according to a Deezen report.

The lamps come in table lamp (35x12 cm ) and floor lamp (130x 24 cm) versions. The lamps are made from plastic, LED, and aluminum, according to the company website.

The LED is situated in the head of the pole that somewhat imitates a socket enables the luminaire to project a lamp shade when switched on.
