Winona Lighting Expands Decorative LED Fixture Product Portfolio

Acuity Brands introduces Winona FORMS LED architectural solutions from Winona® Lighting. New traditional, transitional and contemporary styles are offered in a variety of complementary architectural shapes across the brand's pendant, ceiling-mount and wall sconce portfolio.

Winona Lighting has engineered a unique, patent-pending Form Analogous (FA) Optical SystemTM to fully optimize the potential of LED lighting by enhancing visual comfort and reducing energy consumption. The FA Optical System is design-specific by form and source and distributes candela where it is most beneficial, achieving visual uniformity and eliminating component shadowing, pixilation and hot spots. Each FA Optical System has been designed for modularity, allowing for field service or replacement.

Additionally, the LED luminaires deliver an expected 60,000 hours of illumination based on L80 testing and significantly reduce energy consumption 30 to 60 percent less than comparable fluorescent fixtures. The capabilities of occupancy sensing and constant lumen management, through the use of nLight® intelligence from Acuity Controls, can extend the life by up to another 10 to 20 percent. The integrated eldoLED® driver provides smooth, flicker-free dim to dark (0.1 percent) dimming, setting a new standard in architectural dimming.

"As the marketplace continues to seek lighting that is functional, stylish and efficient, Acuity Brands is working to surpass customer expectations with lighting and controls features that meet current and future needs," said Patrick Brown, Winona Lighting Senior Product Value Stream Manager. "And, this is just the beginning. We are working on an expanded portfolio of exciting new families and updates to the current products customers already love from Winona Lighting."
