The Apple Watch is being sold for US $349 a piece, but will not be hitting store shelves till 2015. Some Chinese financial analysts have already calculated the costs of the sapphire glass cover.

The cost of the Apple Watch is rumored to be US $27.41, and raw material costs are valued at only US $7.86. The remaining costs are R&D, labor and manufacturing costs.

According to market sources, the Apple Watch monitor will be OLED, and have a resolution of 240x320. LG has been rumored as the OLED supplier for the Apple Watch.
