Sengled, makers of intelligent lighting products that integrate consumer electronics with LED bulbs, today announced that the company is partnering with Republic Records to demonstrate how a reinvented light bulb can bring music to life – and light. Sengled's smart LED bulb with a built-in JBL speaker makes it simple to integrate music into everyday life – without all the clutter of wires, power cords and remote controls. Sengled and Republic Records will team up at the SXSW conference to show music lovers how it works between live shows from popular bands.
Sengled Pulse is an LED lightbulb with an integrated JBL speaker to enable wire-free delivery of quality sound throughout the home. Pulse is sold as a starter kit that includes a master bulb and one satellite bulb. Users can connect up to six additional satellite bulbs for a total of eight, creating a Bluetooth-enabled sound system they can control via an iOS or Android app to play music from their digital collection or platforms like Pandora or Spotify. Pulse is the perfect addition to smart homes of any size. Pulse smart bulbs bring adjustable lighting to existing fixtures and deliver rich sound via Bluetooth-enabled speakers to crank up the volume at an impromptu house party or add romantic music to a candlelight dinner.
