MaxLite Appoints New VP of Product Management and Engineering

Reinforcing the company’s commitment to providing innovative, quality LED lighting solutions, MaxLite has appointed Greg Galluccio, an executive with more than 30 years of electrical industry experience, as vice president of product management and engineering.

In this role, Galluccio will be responsible for driving MaxLite’s strategies for product development and management. He will lead a cross-functional team to develop, test and bring to market product enhancements and new product ideas.

“Greg has a proven track record of driving results through the development of competitive products,” said MaxLite Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing Jim Hunter. “His technical expertise and ability to lead across teams will play pivotal roles in advancing MaxLite’s solutions-based approach to the market and ensuring we deliver on what our partners and customers need.”

Prior to joining MaxLite, Galluccio served as director of LED business development and product management at Leviton Manufacturing Company, where he established the company’s corporate LED strategy and go-to-market plan. Before this appointment, he held leadership roles at Global Advantage International and Underwriters Laboratories (UL). As director of business transformation at UL, he led a cross-functional team tasked with establishing new roles, processes and performance measures across the company. Before this appointment, he served as director of engineering, and established a new division at UL’s Canadian affiliate to handle electrical testing and product certification.

Galluccio holds an MBA in marketing and international business from Northeastern University. He is an active member and advisor to numerous technical standards committees, including American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and Zhaga Consortium.
