STG Aerospace Launches New Manufacturing and Warehouse Facility in Miami

STG Aerospace, a world leader in pioneering aircraft lighting technologies, is delighted to announce that it has opened a new U.S. manufacturing and warehousing facility in Miami. Located adjacent to the Miami International Airport runway, the new building has double the space of the company’s previous U.S. premises.

This significant investment in expansion reflects growing demand throughout the Americas for STG Aerospace products and has been specifically designed to serve quickly and more efficiently. The new facility will also ensure that STG Aerospace can manufacture its latest product innovations within the U.S. as well as the UK.

As part of STG Aerospace’s continued global expansion STG also recently launched a wholly foreign owned subsidiary (WFOE) in China.  With this expanded presence in the USA and China  STG is able to market all of its approved product range on a local basis: saf-TgloTM, the pioneering and market-leading photoluminescent emergency floor path system currently installed on over 9000 aircraft worldwide; saf-TsignTM, the leading brand of photoluminescent emergency and informational signage developed for commercial fixed-wing and rotary aircraft; and liTeMood®, a plug-and-play, programmable, LED cabin lighting system designed specifically to retrofit commercial aircraft cabins, both to enhance the passenger experience and improve airline metrics.

Nigel Duncan, STG Aerospace’s Chief Executive, commented:

“The Americas are, of course, a key market and it’s particularly gratifying for us that our investment in a new facility was driven by customer demand. Meeting the needs of customers is at the heart of all we do. Increasing the size of our manufacturing and warehousing operations in the US will enable us to better serve both existing and new customers throughout the region.”

The Beacon Council President & CEO Larry K. Williams said “We’re pleased to see STG Aerospace more than doubling its footprint and seeing more U.S. demand for its products. It speaks to Miami-Dade’s evolution both as a global business hub and leader in the Aviation industry.”

STG Aerospace has had a U.S.  base in Miami for nearly 20 years.
