TOGGLED® Adds Yankon Subsidiary Mega Lighting to List of Patent Licensees

TOGGLED®, developer and producer of next-generation solid-state lighting technology and named in the Top 25 Most Innovative Companies in South East Michigan by Crain's Detroit, reported today the addition of Mega Lighting to its rapidly expanding Licensing Program.

Mega Lighting is the LED (Light Emitting Diode) lighting subsidiary of Yankon Group Co. Ltd., a public company listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange. Located in Zhejiang, China the new venture was founded by Yankon in 2015 with a focus on the U.S. LED lighting business.

As a licensee, Mega now has access to TOGGLED's broad portfolio of over 75 patents primarily related to LED replacements for fluorescent tubes, commonly referred to as TLEDs, along with communication and control technology related to the role of LED lighting in the growing Internet of Things marketplace.

"We are very pleased with the level of manufacturing maturity and support that Yankon is applying to their new Mega Lighting venture," said TOGGLED President Dave Simon. "As the energy efficient lighting industry continues to grow, the combination of manufacturing excellence with advanced technology will offer consumers an ever-expanding range of performance and value."
